New flier helps improve communications between patients and providers

Health Literacy Kentucky's Healthcare Systems Committee has created a flier to improve patient/provider communications in all health care settings in order to increase health literacy for patients in Kentucky. The fact sheet, How to Communicate so Your Patients Understand, focuses on practical ways for providers to ensure their patients understand and can "teach back" or "show back," in their own words, the health information given to them.
